I like to read the front page, and then work my way through the paper to the comics. The comics are the best part of the paper. Many of the articles that are in the newspaper are interesting to read. But I live in a small town so the articles are short and to the point. The one section of the paper that I do not care too much about is Sports. About the only thing that I like to watch with my husband is the UFC. I love to watch a good fight.
Public relations within any business or ad has to appeal to the target market that the business has chosen. As a business owner you have to portray your product in such a way that will appeal to the consumer. Things that need to be taken into consideration when developing or promoting a new product is the public relations that is involved with the product and the mission of the company. I have watched a few different commercials and all of them stand behind their products or services. One of the commercials that I watched was about Gieco and insurance for your home. The man that played the part was acting like a raccoon and destroying the house to show the consumer that these things can happen without any notice and you are stuck with the bill and fixing the house. These types of commercials try to entice the consumer to purchase their insurance at a low rate. This business is showing the consumer that it is better to be covered than not covered when mahem hits. I thought that the public relations was very good and I would have to say that most of their commercials are always like this and stick in your head. Another one of the commercials that they have is a guy getting into a car accident because he was starring at the guy who was portrayed as a girl in this commercial running down the sidewalk.
It is amazing what people will buy in this world. They will make millions on this product. I enjoyed watching this because it is funny. I would not want to hear this thing every time that I walked into a room. It is probably from China like everything else in this world.
One of the television advertisments that I have watched was about Pamper’s diaper’s and how the shape of the diaper is made to fit any child. With room for movements and other various movements. This ad was telling the consumer that Pamper’s is the right choice from all of the other choices for diaper’s. They put little designs on the diaper’s to make them more appealing for the consumer. Back in the old days they would use cloth diaper’s for the babies and they would have to wash them out. Disposable diaper’s are a dream come true for most parents because they are quick and simple and with little or no mess. The graphics that these commercials use for the ads is wonderful because the ads portray their products on babies and how well the diaper moves as the baby is crawling around. I also think that the ad is socially responsible because it is geared toward parents and babies. To make life a little easier for busy parents and for the child as well. In this day and time I could not see using cloth diaper’s but I would if I had to. Thank goodness that part of it is over. I do not think that ads like this need any improvements.
Amen! You know just about everything that you see on television has something or all of these things in the outlining of their message to the consumer’s. What is the world coming to? I do not understand the way people think about the world that we live in. They think that everything is fine and this is what our children are learning about. This is why I restrict television in my home because my children do not need to see some of these things that they show on television. They need to know the important things and nothing else.
It seems one can hardly watch television anymore without the bombardment of profanity, sexual content, violence, and wizardry of some sort –and that’s just the commercials! Fifty years ago such immoral content would have been considered too scandalous to be aired on live TV! Yet, today, such programs are not only watched, but promoted and encouraged. Where has America gone?!
Earlier this year I decided to get hughes net to finish my last class for college and I did not mind the fact that there would be a two year contract. The representative told me that my bill would be under $50.00 for the first three months, and that there were some discounts because I was in school. However, the first month I paid over$60.00
and it went up from there. I have contacted them and they told me that.i would have to call and listen to the recording when I signed up. What in the world all these companies like comcast, charter, hughesnet, and other internet providers twll you what you want to hear to get your money no matter
Hughesnet is the slowest unreliable internet provider that I have ever had and I am voicing my opinion about them and I will tell everyone that I meet how crappy they are with customer service and making sure that their customers are happy. I expected to pay a certain price and now I am stuck in a two year contract. I have had problems loading the web pages and doing the normal activities that most people do on the internet.
If you are one day late a message from hughesnet will appear causing you to stop what you are doing and close out your browser and lose what you were working on to pay your bill. They tell you what you want to hear and make you think you are getting a good deal when in fact they are only signing you up to get your money.
I see many people throughout the course of my day and I can tell everyone of them what a joke hughesnet is. Not to mention that they claim to be the cheapest internet around. When you live in the mountains you do not have a lot of choices. However, the choices you do have should provide better customer service to their customers. The representative that processed my claim did not even put anything about the dicounts on my file except for a ten dollars off the first month. Oh yeah that helped me out a lot. Hughesnet is one company that I will never recommend, and I will do my best to tell at least everyone that I meet how unreliable and slow their services are.
