Thoughts About Memorial Day

clip_image001blog.adw.org

Memorial Day is approaching it is a time that people celebrate what our troops, veterans, and people who are overseas are doing to keep our country safe. It is celebrated on the final Monday in May so that we may remember those who have fought for our country. Even though they are not with us today they will always be in our hearts and souls. You know it has to be hard for them to come home to their families and try to forget about the horrors that they have witnessed during any of the wars that this country has fought.

For everything that they do to protect, and serve their community and fellow Americans they should receive the recognition from everyone. There are too many veterans out there that are not receiving the help that they need to come to terms with the things that they have seen all over the world. Some people say that if you have ever served in the war that the things that you experienced during that time is something that you do not want to talk about because of the memories that it leaves in your mind.

When you look at these grave sites you see millions of soldiers that fought for their country and died in the process. They gave their life serving our country and we would not be here today if they had not given their life during the war. It takes quite a bit of energy to make it through the wars and live your life without the fear of bombs, guns, and other things going off around you.

In researching, about the longest living veterans of World War I the information contained in the research states that Frank Buckles was the last oldest World War I veteran who passed away in “2011”. He lived to be 110 years old after serving so many years of watching the horrors of war! He was a handsome man who gave so many years to serving in the war and for his country. What a life to live!

I hope that you appreciate the sacrifices that these soldiers have made for our country. We as Americans owe them gratitude, and recognition for all that they do or have done for America. If you see someone in uniform shake their hand and thank them for all that they have done! Do not be afraid to show these soldiers respect because after all that they have gone through they deserve the respect and the gratification that people are thankful for the things that they have done for our country.

In honor of those who have given their life because of the casualties of war! I commend you for all that you have done! For those who are currently serving I hope that you come home safe and sound to your families. You deserve the utmost respect from everyone around the world for everything that you do to protect our country.

Again Learning Coding Can be an Interesting Experience

You know when starting this endeavor I did not know if I would enjoy it this much! I have learned quite a bit about coding in the last couple of day. Along with preparing finals for the children. There were a few spots in learning this information that I could not quite get the hang of however, with persistence I managed to make it through to the next lesson.

It is quite interesting that I will now be able to develop my own website with the information below! How awesome is that? The many things that you can learn if you put your mind to what you want to do in your life.

Mother’s Day

Picture1

I am posting this early because I have to work on Mother’s Day along with many other mothers around the world.

Being a mother involves many things like being there for your children no matter what the obstacles. Mother’s always make sure that they have food, clothes, and numerous other things. Mother’s encourage them to do their best at anything that they do in their life. Mother’s praise them for doing the right thing. Mother’s make sure that there children know that you love them with all your heart.

You have to make sure that your children know that you are not there to be their friend but you are there to make sure that they grow up to be the best person that they can be. It is not going to be easy especially when your babies start growing up and becoming their own person. The time to be their friend is when they are grown and starting their own life with the person that they have found to spend their life with and start their own family.

Being a parent is not easy and there are obstacles that you have to overcome to make sure that your children are safe, secure, and happy within their life. Things in life happen for a reason and no matter what they are you can always count on your mother to be there when things go in the wrong direction. Every mother needs to give their children advice about many things like drugs, sex, boys, girls (in this day and time), and many other things. You have to make sure that they know how to defend themselves, stick up for themselves, and to protect themselves if something should happen.

The best Mother’s Day presents are the ones that you cannot buy in any store in the world. Mother’s around the world enjoy the gifts that your children make for you from anything and everything that they can find around the house. It is truly amazing what your children can make for you and the best part is it comes from the heart. They took the time to make you something to celebrate the special day.

I hope that every mother around the world enjoys Mother’s Day with the ones that they love. Cherish your children and be thankful that you have them around to celebrate this wonderful day. Our children are what keeps us going everyday of every year.

To all the mother’s that have lost their children I am sorry that you have to go through a Mother’s Day without your loved one.

Watching the U.S. Tornado Outbreak from Space

Interesting to see something like this happen right before your eyes. I personally, have never witnessed anything like this.

Watts Up With That?

NASA has just released an animation of visible and infrared satellite data from NOAA’s GOES-East satellite that shows the development and movement of the weather system that spawned tornadoes affecting seven central and southern U.S. states on April 27-28, 2014. NASA’s Aqua satellite captured infrared data on the system that revealed powerful storms, high into the troposphere.

~~Full Moon Names and Their Meanings~~

Full Moon names date back to Native Americans, of what is now the northern and eastern United States. The tribes kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to each recurring full Moon. Their names were applied to the entire month in which each occurred. There was some variation in the Moon names, but in general, the same ones were current throughout the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior.

European settlers followed that custom and created some of their own names. Since the lunar month is only 29 days long on the average…
